The value of a life is not measured by how much stuff is acquired or accumulated – the value of a life is measured by how much of it is given away!  In this talk, we discuss how followers of Jesus live with an eternal perspective – which in turn – causes them to redirect their pursuits when it comes to money and possessions!

Christians are “followers of the way”, not “believers in the creed”.  Every day, we face troubles and trials and these can either cause us to lose heart or we can shift our perspective to see that God is at work in our everyday trials.  During this talk, we explore how an eternal perspective can actually grow our faith through the everyday trials!

Christians are “followers of the way”, not “believers in the creed”.  The message of Jesus is “come as you are… but don’t stay as you are!”  He wants to make us brand new.  But we have to do our part and own our sin.  In this talk, we discuss the practice of confession for followers of the way of Jesus!

Proximity is not the same as community.  We can be close together and still not lower our façade and become fully known and fully loved.  But we are created for community and we need each other.  In this talk, we will look at what made the early church community stand out, and what is required of us to experience that in our own lives.

Prayer is just talking to God, right? Maybe prayer is more than just us “talking”. More than simply trying to persuade God to give us what we want. In this talk, we unpack Jesus’ life-changing answer to the question, “Teach us how to pray.”

Followers of Jesus don’t simply follow a set of ancient writings, we follow a person!  And as we follow Jesus, we discover what it looks like to follow THE WAY of Jesus.  That’s what this series is all about – giving us a day to day framework for what it looks like to be a follower or an apprentice of Jesus!  Come and join us as we uncover and rediscover THE WAY!
